Hey there! So, here’s the deal – ININ, Tozai Games, Irem, and Strictly Limited Games are all set to drop something wild next week. Ever hear of IREM Collection Volume 3? No? Well, get out from under that rock and check it out!
So, what we got here? Three games you probably never heard of but should’ve: Mr. Heli, Mystic Riders, and Dragon Breed. They’re from IREM’s old-school vault. Sounds like a treasure chest of pixels, right? Anyway, this set? It’s a mashup of magic, machines, and madness.
Let’s dive in, shall we? Mr. Heli, aka Battle Chopper (Did he have legs? No clue why that stuck with me), came out in 1987 in Japan. This game’s all about puzzly maps and beefy bosses. Oh, and the crystal mining! Gotta keep those chopper blades whirring, ya know?
Then Mystic Riders. Honestly, who doesn’t want to ride broomsticks and face-off against sky turtles and fiery demons? This 1992 fantasy shooter lets you do just that. You and your pal (if you have one nearby) can tag-team the day away as Mark the wizard or Zeal the witch. Not gonna lie, I get bored playing solo.
And finally – Dragon Breed. Not gonna sugarcoat it, this one’s intense. It’s like they smashed R-Type and fantasy apocalypse together. You ride a dragon, Bahamoot (cool name, right?), who fries everything like it’s breakfast.
And, get this, the collection throws in stuff like rapid-fire button tweaks and save/load features, which is… neat, I guess? Oh, and worldwide leaderboards. ‘Cause who doesn’t want to flaunt their high score?
Anyway, stick around ’cause we’re cooking up a review for IREM Collection Volume 3. Should be a blast, or a mess. We’ll see. Catch it on PS4Blog.net!
