Okay, so get this. Dave the Diver’s all-new “In the Jungle” DLC? Yeah, it’s hit a speed bump, folks. Mintrocket, those creative minds behind the game, just told us we’re not seeing it in 2025. Nope. But hang on, there’s a little silver lining for fans clinging to hope about older content.
So, Dave the Diver blew up on PC back in June 2023. Everyone loved it. Then it slid over to the Switch, brightening the lives of PlayStation folks by April 2024. In the meantime, this hybrid game got some DLC love—some rare, some just popping in and out, like that Godzilla Content Pack. Launched May 2024, then poof, gone after seven months. Mintrocket was all, “that’s it, folks!” But, surprise! Late June 2025, it’s back. What a tease, right?
Now, I don’t usually follow digital Storefront stuff, but this caught-my-eye. It’s their second anniversary or something. So, they’re like, why not a comeback? Anyway… oh, right, the delay.
The “In the Jungle” thing—from late 2025 to early 2026. This isn’t tech issues or whatever you might guess. Nope, Mintrocket’s just too pumped with ideas. I guess it’s like one of those “just a few more tweaks” scenarios. Maybe they’re onto something magical? Or maybe they’re dawdling. Who’s to say?
And speaking of the Godzilla DLC—it’s not disappearing anytime soon. They’ve got it chilling until at least end of 2026, thanks to some fancy licensing dance. Ah! Almost slipped my mind. That festive Ichiban pack, which should’ve only been floating around for six months, is sticking around as long as Godzilla. A holiday miracle, perhaps?
Those Mintrocket folks. Full of surprises. Maybe it’s all strategy, or chaos. Either way—I, for one, kinda dig it.
