Hey, so this game—Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist—just pulled in over 170 grand on Kickstarter. Pretty wild, right? Resolute Games is behind it, trying to get this VR MMORPG thing going.
Anyway, they launched this campaign on June 24th. I mean, people went nuts. They hit 25k in, like, 1.5 hours. Nuts! And then, before you knew it, they were over the 100k mark in just a week. They hit all these stretch goals too—like some bonfire healing thing, new species you can play with, guest access to housing, and even some pet abilities. Yeah, pets!
But, seriously, this game is ambitious with a capital A. They’ve got this huge world planned—multiple areas, all these different classes, crafting stuff, building houses and who knows what else.
Resolute Games paints this picture of Eldramoor being vast, with five zones full of, well, everything. Makes you want to dig around and find treasures while avoiding whatever beasts or bots are lurking. They say sticking to the main path means missing out on half the adventure. So wander off, I guess?
Oh, and the social aspect is huge. Guilds, chatting in dungeons, PvP, the whole kit and caboodle. Maybe it’s about these little multiplayer things too, like trading and, wait, “profession trains”? No clue what that means, but sounds intriguing. Apparently, you’ll make buddies at bonfires while cooking up some buffs… or something.
So, sure, big ideas don’t always need big bucks at first, but let’s be real—Resolute probably needs more cash from somewhere else soon, just to keep everything rolling and to make Eldramoor as massive as they’re dreaming it to be.
They say backers will get their hands on it by December 2026, ready for both Quest 3 and SteamVR. If you’re curious, there’s more on the game’s Steam page or maybe you’d want to see the updates from their now-over Kickstarter. Good luck to them, I guess?
