When aligned on a color wheel over the game’s Galactic War map, it sits precisely over Rogue 5.
This has led to speculation that the Illuminate might be planning to use Rogue 5 as a central hub. Given its vast, deep oceans, it would certainly suit the squid-like aquatic Illuminate. It’s worth noting that Helldivers previously thwarted an Illuminate advancement on Rogue 5 during a prior Automaton Major Order.
The images in the videos, combined with a part of the freezeframe from “Signal Lost,” suggest Rogue 5 could be the planet in question. Its soft bluish hues are very reminiscent of the spectrogram capture, but some argue it might be the Squ’bai Shrine, the Illuminate home world from a previous galactic conflict—a world not yet featured in Helldivers 2, yet sharing similar visual traits.
