So I saw the game trailer, expecting something laugh-worthy cause “Shark Dentist” sounds like some wacky July feature on Discovery, right? But nah, turns out, it’s giving off some real spine-chilling vibes. Imagine slipping into the role of the most daring (or clueless) veterinary dentist out there — one who deals exclusively with toothy marine monsters. Your job? Fix their dental dramas without losing your head. Literally.
Alice Games mentions being inspired by things like Buckshot Roulette. Sounds like they’ve cooked up a mix of twisted humor, rogue-like gameplay, and an eerie atmosphere. Quite the cocktail.
You’re juggling a lot here: managing the shark’s heart rate, its pain threshold, and exactly how zonked out it is from the anesthesia. Slip up once, and you’re fish food in the goriest way. They throw in a bunch of tools at you — like a circular saw. Why would you even, right? But hey, it must do something good cause they put it in there. Timing and tool choice are key; either you yank that pesky tooth out or your head ends up as a chew toy. Fun times.
Oh, and the shark, it’s bizarre. It’s just there, suspended from a ceiling in some sketchy basement. Who does that? Why a basement? Is our protagonist dabbling in illegal shark dentistry on the sly?
