Alright, so I’m rambling through the latest with Elden Ring Nightreign. Whoa, didn’t think we’d see another update so soon, but surprise – here it is. No downtime lucked out for us there. Just, yeah, update the game, or matchmaking’s gonna snub you. Fun times.
Patch 1.01.4, right? Tagging along after its slightly older sibling, 1.01.3 from late June. Nothing earth-shattering, but those fixes – oh boy, they’re crucial if you ask me, and I’m someone who barely reads patch notes half the time.
Now, the cool bit? They tossed in a tiny new-ish feature. The Armament Info menu now shows weapon types. Handy, right? Makes it heaps easier to decide: keep this hunk of metal or ditch it for that shiny new blade? It’s one of those quality of life things you didn’t know you needed.
The rest? Bug fixes galore. I’d say it’s a safety net, saving you from potential virtual doom. Like, imagine matchmaking breaking just cause your pals did a vanishing act together. Ugh, fixed, they say.
Oh, the one about missing gestures and achievements is a kicker though. Got to redo requirements to unlock stuff. Sneaky note in the back there – supposedly prepping for Sentient Pest Nightlord to take the Everdark throne. Waiting game till tomorrow, July 3. Maybe it’s real, maybe it’s fluff, who knows.
In case you missed the memo, Nightreign has these beefed-up bosses now. Everdark Sovereigns? Just fancy talk for “meaner Nightlords”. Only show if you beat them once. New tricks up their sleeves too – designed to keep you on your toes. Wicked, right?
Visuals time! We’ve got Gnoster, the Sentient Pest – they say version 2.0 but who keeps track? Confession: I skipped past who-knows-how-many lines of patch details and straight into new attacks. If they slap, they slap. You get me?
So, here’s the rundown on what they tweaked in 1.01.4. Weapon types show up easily now – major win. Ditched bugs that made matchmaking a headache after ghost teammates vanished. Solved that weird thing with the “It’s Raining!” gesture. Plus, more about not dying randomly or music that just… doesn’t play when it should in Recluse Remembrance. Fixed achievement hiccups in Crater too. Like a whole parade of bug-busting.
You read all of this? High five. If you’re itching for more, our Elden Ring Nightreign guide’s your friend. We jazzed it up with a Revenant Remembrance walkthrough and a map event breakdown – tons of juicy rewards too!
Off to the next adventure! 🎮
