Oh man, so Nintendo’s at it again with Splatoon 3! Heard they’re dropping a new update soon. I think it’s supposed to go live like, this Thursday or whatever – June 12th, if my brain’s not completely fried. This update, version 10.0.0 or some fancy number, is bringing in this thing called the Splatlands collection. Sounds kinda epic, right?
So, 30 new weapons are coming in, all dressed up in this Barazushi and Emberz branding. I swear, the names they come up with are always a trip. Anyway, they’ve got these fresh, flashy looks – new subs, new specials, you name it. Do people still call stuff “flashy,” or am I just showing my age here?
Oh, and Urchin Underpass is making a return! That’s from the OG Splatoon on Wii U. Anyone else feeling nostalgic yet, or is it just me? Classic Nintendo, bringing back all the feels.
Moving on to weapon Freshness caps – apparently, they’re raising them. You get to earn these shiny, new badges too. The best part? They’re introducing this new stat thing, Series Weapon Power. Sounds serious but kinda cool. It measures how well you’re doing based on your battles. I guess that means you won’t randomly get matched with pro players when all you wanted was a chill game. Maybe that’s a good thing – or not, if you’re into being a glutton for punishment.
Now, for the Switch 2 folks, the graphics are getting an upgrade. More detailed visuals, they say. Imagine everything in Splatsville looking smoother, like… I dunno, a polished pebble? Plus, and this is big, you can play with friends who haven’t upgraded yet. Cross-console gaming, it’s the future, or maybe just common sense. Who knows!
Splatoon 3 is out there, in the wild, ready for you to grab a copy or just download it straight from the eShop. Choices, choices. Happy splatting or whatever!
Wait, where was I? Oh right, new visuals and badges. Or was it the weapon kits? Ah, who cares, just dive into the update!
