And yep, just to make a statement, Donald’s chucking Steam off his computer. Seriously.
So, the day after Summer Game Fest – you’d think folks would chill, right? Nope. Instead, you’ve got this lineup of game announcement shows, like two new ones for 2025. That’s six hours of non-stop game stuff. Crazy, huh? Well, anyway, here’s a rundown of the goodies headed to Switch 1 or 2. If a game doesn’t say otherwise, just assume it’s got that Switch logo thrown on it.
Wholesome Direct
Two surprise drops—one scrapbook game called Instants and a weird puzzle/furniture thing, Squeakross: Home Squeak Home. July 10, cue Everdeep Aurora, where a kitten drills through the ground for its mom, and Islanders: New Shores does its island thing. Monument Valley III finally lands on July 25. A farm sim, Tales of the Shire, where you’re a hobbit, is set for July 29—finally, maybe? Anyway, a shop sim called Discounty hits on August 21. Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar gets cross-platform love on August 27. Is This Seat Taken? sounds like a quirky seating puzzle, also in August. Little Kitty, Big City gets a life update. XSEED is bringing us Milano’s Odd Job Collection in 2025 – no clue why it took so long. Then there’s Winter Burrow for 2025 and an episodic adventure, The Guardian of Nature, on Steam now but when on Switch? Who knows.
