Hey, so, I heard this thing about Intel—yeah, they’re still messing with that Battlemage stuff. You know, like they’re planning to drop a new GPU that might shake things up a bit. Or, well, that’s the rumor.
Anyway, there’s this buzz going around about the Arc B770—it’s supposedly already in production. Could hit stores next quarter. Or not. Who knows? Intel’s not exactly speeding things along like AMD or NVIDIA, but hey, they’re trying.
So, rewind to late 2024, they threw out a couple of mid-range cards—Arc B570 and B580. Decent, I guess. Meanwhile, AMD and NVIDIA are gearing up with their own fancy stuff now. I mean, Intel’s got nothing to match them, at least right this second. But then this Japanese site, Gazlog, spills the beans that they’re cooking something new—a “BMG-G31” silicon, whatever that means. Sounds cool, right?
Apparently, some shipping manifests (FedEx magic, I assume) popped up a few weeks back. They showed this silicon thing making its way to Vietnam. So, likely where the Arc B770 is coming together. Vietnam does Intel’s Limited Edition stuff. Feels like we’re definitely seeing this thing soon. Why B770, you ask? Because, duh, the B5XX stuff is kinda done and dusted.
Oh, and this leaker guy, OneRaichu—he’s not exactly shy about spilling secrets—says we’ll probably see the B770 around. So, maybe the Battlemage lineup isn’t dead. Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking. Specs-wise, they’re talking about 24-32 Xe2 cores, 16 GB GDDR6—yeah, it sounds techy. Maybe it’ll do AI stuff too? Honestly, it’s like reading a crystal ball.
There’s a show, Computex 2025, kicking off in a bit. I guess we’ll know more then. They might pull a fast one and drop a new dGPU. Or just leave us hanging. Who can say? Fingers crossed, Intel.
