Oh man, so listen up — there’s this sale happening on the Nintendo eShop and it’s kind of wild, like, seriously bonkers. Atari Studios is slashing prices on a bunch of Nintendo Switch games. Not sure why they picked this exact moment, maybe because 2025 is the year we all need a distraction? Anyway, it wraps up at 11:59 PM PT, May 11th, 2025. I’m totally not missing out on this, and you shouldn’t either. Here’s why…
First off, they’ve got some gems discounted. I’m talking about Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration, which, if you’re into nostalgia trips, is a must-have. Then there’s this Breakout Beyond thing—seems intriguing, doesn’t it? And, get this, Mighty Morphine Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is part of the deal, which just makes me laugh—like, imagine rewinding Rita herself. Good times.
And, oh boy, the list. Buckle up, ‘cause here it comes…
Akka Arrh, ever heard of it? $5.99 now, used to be $19.99. Crazy, right?
Asteroids: Recharged might bring back some memories, now down to $3.49 from $9.99—such a sweet deal.
And there’s this Atari 50 Deluxe thing for $29.99. Someone pinch me, ‘cause I recall it being $49.99.
Check out the classics too, like Atari Flashback Classics at $11.99. That one’s practically a steal—it was $39.99!
Moving on, Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition—yup, that futuristic vibe for just $2.49. Used to be $9.99 but no longer.
Bread & Fred—sounds like a duo you’d want to know, doesn’t it? Now $8.99, down from $14.99.
Breakout Beyond… didn’t I mention this before? Maybe I’m repeating myself, or it’s the excitement talking. It’s $11.99 now.
Bubsy: Paws on Fire! is down to $4.99. It must be quite the show if it used to be $24.99.
Centipede: Recharged, kind of electrifying—I know, cheesy joke—down to $3.49 from $9.99.
I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. What a title. Now $7.99, hardly a dent on the wallet since it was $9.99 before.
Next, Killing Time: Resurrected because, well, don’t we all need that from time to time? At $16.24, it’s down from $24.99.
And then we’ve got Lunar Lander Beyond for $16.49. Used to be $29.99. They really want us to explore the moon, huh?
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind again, but it never gets old. Now at $24.49, chopped from $34.99.
NeoSprint, whatever that is, now at $14.99. Started at $24.99, so maybe it’s worth the sprint?
PO’ed: Definitive Edition—sounds definitive at $10.99 where it used to be $19.99.
PowerSlave Exhumed costing $6.99 is kind of tempting. Should’ve been $19.99.
qomp2 is $10.99 now. From $19.99. Honestly, what’s qomp1 like, is it even a thing?
Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition for $6.99. Ludicrously cheap from $19.99.
Next rollercoaster ride… RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe at $19.99, a sweet escape from its $39.99 days.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition is $7.49. How was it ever $29.99? Mind blown.
And keep riding with RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic. It’s $18.74 now, from $24.99.
If Shadow Man Remastered doesn’t spook you, $6.99 will. Was $19.99, though.
Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster—because, why not, right? $16.49 is much kinder than $29.99.
Strife: Veteran Edition at $2.99 is just, wow. Must’ve been $9.99.
Surgeon Simulator CPR? I can’t even imagine it, but it’s just $2.59 now. Was $12.99!
Tempest 4000, sound like sci-fi? $3.99 is a nice drop from $19.99.
The Thing: Remastered is $22.49, down from $29.99. I wonder if it’s as creepy as it sounds.
Totally Reliable Delivery Service for $2.99—sounds completely unreliable, ha! From $14.99, a win.
And the Deluxe Edition of that reliable service is $4.79, where it was $23.99.
Turok Trilogy Bundle stands at $14.99. Imagine it being $59.99 once?
Lastly, Yars Rising, no idea on that one, but $17.99 is so enticing compared to $29.99.
Whew, that’s the list. Felt like a wild ride, didn’t it? Maybe it’s just the thrill of bargains talking. Anyway, you might want to grab what you fancy before the clock strikes midnight on May 11th. Or don’t. Up to you. But just think, some of these might be exactly the distraction we need right now.
