All the MultiVersus Characters Leaked for Season 5

When MultiVersus entered the gaming scene in July 2022, the excitement was palpable. It quickly achieved the distinction of being Warner Bros.’ most successful launch on Steam. However, despite the initial buzz, the game struggled to maintain its player base. By June 2023, it had gone offline, only to make a comeback in May 2024 amidst criticism over its monetization strategies.

Despite the dwindling numbers and Warner Bros. acknowledging the game’s significant underperformance, MultiVersus persists in rolling out new content. With Season 4 getting a two-week extension, Season 5 is set to kick off on February 4. While Player First, the developer, has kept details about the new season under wraps, there have been multiple leaks hinting at possible new characters joining the roster.

In regards to potential new faces, there are whispers of DC’s Aquaman making an entrance. In October 2024, a Twitter user by the name @MVSDonkDonk noted some updated files for Aquaman, suggesting he might be included in the fifth season. Aquaman has been a subject of speculation since the game’s Beta phase, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see him join other Justice League members like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

Another character expected to make waves is Lola Bunny from Looney Tunes. Recent leaks have pointed to her potential debut alongside Aquaman. According to leaker @AusilMVS, the mysterious “C038” file has now been identified as Lola Bunny. While her addition is exciting for some, fans were hoping for the inclusion of Daffy Duck.

The leaks suggest that Aquaman will dive into the game with the start of Season 5, while Lola Bunny might appear later, around mid-season. Don’t expect The Wizard of Oz’s Wicked Witch of the West just yet—leaks hint at her arrival no sooner than Season 6.

As we look beyond these two characters, a host of other figures are rumored for future inclusion in MultiVersus. This list includes well-known names like Gandalf, Legolas, Daenerys Targaryen, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Daffy Duck, Static Shock, Poison Ivy, Johnny Bravo, Fred Flintstone, Ben 10, Mad Max, King Kong, Godzilla, Mr. Meeseeks, Neo, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Emmet from The LEGO Movie. Yet, as with all leaks, it’s advisable to take these with a grain of salt until confirmation.

MultiVersus continues to offer players a diverse cast of characters. From Bugs Bunny and Arya Stark to Rick Sanchez, each brings a distinct set of abilities and flair to the battlefield. New maps transform iconic locales into spectacular combat zones, and with the addition of fresh modes such as a PvE option, the game caters to a variety of playstyles.
