Okay, so here’s the deal with Wander Stars. Fellow Traveller and Paper Castle are at it again, and their turn-on-a-dime JRPG is hitting up the Nintendo Switch. Not sure if that’s news or just Tuesday, but hey, there it is.
Anyway, the devs decided to blurt out, “Hey, we got new info!” So, what’s the scoop? Wander Stars is dragging its feet a bit — dropping later than originally thought. No surprise there, right? Haha.
Kicking off with a big ol’ thanks for hopping into the open beta. Seriously, your thoughts were like gold dust. Slight issue though: they realized they’re kinda off-target from what they wanted. Oops?
Feedback was a mixed bag of “Thumbs up!” and “Fix this mess.” Stuff like the UI being wonky — like, what’s this button even do? Oh, and combat bugs. Nothing like a glitch to spice up your gaming night.
So yeah, they’re taking more time to iron things out. Balancing stuff too because, apparently, Episode 2 goes a bit haywire. They’ve been burning the midnight oil, and hey, can’t blame them for taking a breather, right? Self-care and all.
Plus, in a plot twist fitting for a game itself, the launch is now set for September 19. Why September 19? No idea. But apparently, it marks the 7th anniversary of Underhero. Makes sense? Maybe?
Patience is appreciated, blah blah. We’re crossing fingers the wait pans out. Everyone’s hyped for this galactic ride with Ringo the martial artist and Wolfe the mystery dude. Sounds like a buddy cop show in space or something.
Ten chapters of interstellar antics inspired by Cowboy Bebop and Dragon Ball Z, with twists and shocks? Sign me up. Fighting’s more than just a punch and kick affair, though—it’s about this Kiai martial arts jazz. Over 200 words to mash together in battles? Sure, why not.
Oh, and save the date: August 1, 2025. That’s the official eShop vibe check for Wander Stars. Time to pencil it in or just keep living dangerously.
