June 2025 State of Play: Full List of Announcements and Trailers

Hey, so — big news dump from PlayStation! I watched the State of Play today, and wow, they crammed in a lot! Not sure why they do that all at once, but here we are. Maybe you missed it, or you just love watching those reels on repeat like me — no judgment here. Anyway, let’s unpack it a bit.

First up, you gotta rewatch the madness. Just go for it. Seriously, it’s worth it. We’ve got everything lined up: trailers, announcements, all the juicy bits. And some insider stuff too — straight from the creators’ mouths via PS Blog. Nice touch, right?

Astro Bot, remember that little guy? He’s coming back with new levels in the Vicious Void Galaxy. Five of them! Special Bots, new controller, all the fun stuff. Check out Team Asobi’s chat about it.

Okay, detour! Baby Steps — ever thought you’d love a walking sim? You’re getting one on September 8. Nate, in a onesie, dealing with nature. Sounds odd, but it’s quirky in a good way.

Bloodstained is back too. New heroes, big castle, switcheroo action. I’m kinda hyped. Gotta love a castle crawl with new characters. 505 Games talks all about it.

And then there’s Cairn. Climbing galore, November 5 — manage your stuff and don’t fall off a mountain, basically. Game Bakers are all over the PS Blog with the how-tos.

Digimon fans? Time to celebrate. Time Stranger got a new trailer — customization, characters, the whole shebang, out October 3.

I’m rambling now, but Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots is swinging by on September 5, with Pac-Man. Yeah, you read that right. Pac-Man in a golf game.

Final Fantasy Tactics is trotting back out too, with The Ivalice Chronicles. Voice-overs, UI tweaks — they’ve revamped it all. And there’s an easy mode for beginners, I guess. September 30.

Ghost of Yōtei — there’s a special show just for it in July. Sucker Punch is teasing a whole bunch about gameplay. I’m marking my calendar.

Hirogami, anyone? Origami adventure hits PS5 September 3. Folding into animals, puzzles, all in a paper world. Unique, huh?

Spies alert! 007 First Light is on PS5 next year. It’s a Bond origin story by IO Interactive. Fancy cinematics and classic espionage, I reckon.

And get this — Lumines Arise for PS5. With VR2 compatibility! I’m imagining electronic tunes and Tetris vibes in Tokyo streets.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls — PlayStation Studios and Arc System Works cooking up a fighter. Characters, stages, eye candy galore, coming soon.

Now, a classic — Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Sneaky stuff, action-packed, and Snake vs Monkey’s back. Dropping August 28. I’ve got goosebumps.

Mortal Kombat Kollection — early MK games with documentaries, anyone? Digital Eclipse and Warner Bros. are bringing the heat.

Ninjas! Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound hits July 31. Side-scrolling chaos from The Game Kitchen. Fast-paced insanity coming!

Nioh 3, folks. Samurai or Ninja, pick your poison. Koei Tecmo mixing it up with new battle styles.

PlayStation Plus lineup teasers: Sword of the Sea is in. Classics like Deus Ex, Twisted Metal — they’re all here! Resident Evil’s September too!

Capcom fans, Pragmata’s out in 2026 but there’s a trailer now. Dual protagonists, strategies galore.

Fight stick alert — Project Defiant, a wireless wonder, hitting soon. Custom design from PlayStation.

Romeo is a Dead Man, literally. Space-time, FBI chaos, happening next year. Grasshopper Manufacture’s twisty narrative incoming.

Sea of Remnants — pirate city and oceanic RPG craziness coming. Orbtopia, crew management, and sea secrets.

Silent Hill f slices in — terrifying fog, high school drama, a must-see trailer. Find beauty in the terror, they say.

Sword of the Sea — mythic surfing, environmental storytelling in August. Giant Squid’s next hit looks kinda dreamy.

VR stealth? Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow, on PS VR2, looms later this year. Sneak around, outsmart your foes, you know the drill.

Tides of Tomorrow stands out — Road 96’s creators are behind this. Asynchronous multiplayer, ocean adventure — your choices matter!
