Sure thing, let’s dive into this…
What’s Cooking Next Week on Xbox?
Hey, so here we are again! It’s that time of the week where we take a chaotic peek at what’s hitting the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and even Xbox PC. And don’t forget about Game Pass — you know, if you’re into that sort of thing. I guess we should just dive in, right? Uh, here we go!
Mafia: The Old Country – August 8
Okay, ever get that itch to jump into the gritty underworld of 1900s Sicily? Nope? Well, now you can anyway. Meet Enzo Favara (I love the name, don’t know why), a guy trying to make a name for himself in this brutal mob tale. It’s all third-person action and adventure — think lots of dark alleyway whispers and dramatic "family" stuff. But maybe that’s just me imagining things.
GRADIUS ORIGINS – August 7
Blast from the past much? We’re talking a whopping 18 versions of these old-school arcade shooters. I swear, they had a version for everything. First time for Gradius III AM Show Version on home consoles too, so that’s neat. It’s a collection that covers everything from Salamander to Life Force, and a few others I can’t properly pronounce without practice. Epic arcade nostalgia, folks.
Dark Steel Legends – August 5
I guess the world really loves some medieval combat, huh? Welcome to Ravenfell, where everyone’s a mercenary, and glory is always just a sword’s width away. It’s fast-paced action-packed chaos — or so they tell me. Mastery comes at a price, obviously. Just, you know, don’t get your hopes on finding actual steel ‘cause it’s all digital. But isn’t everything these days?
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 – August 5
Honestly, if you’re not into slashing demons with Tanjiro Kamado, what are you even doing with your console time? This game lets you relive some iconic anime arcs, so it’s like playing the animated series — minus the popcorn. Expect high drama and bigger explosions. Probably.
Little Helper Café – August 5
Get this — you control a hedgehog. Yep, a spiky little dude helping around the café. All about shoving sugar cubes and sliding on honey tiles. Could it be cuter? Probably not, and that’s why I’m into it.
Alien Breakout – August 6
You ever get the urge to be a green-skinned alien escaping from humans? Weirdly specific, but hey, here’s your chance. It’s all retro pixel art and 100 levels of chaos. Platformer vibes at its finest. Or not. Who am I to say?
Bonk ‘N Bash – August 6
Dinos! Eggs! Adventure! All the things I didn’t realize I missed until now. Help our little dino friend avoid extinction and keep his lineage going. I’m personally rooting for more veggies over bonking though.
Others To Keep an Eye On
-
Destination Paradise Collector’s Edition: Dive into hidden object fun. They say it’s delightful, but I’ll reserve judgment.
-
Mystery Hotel: Hidden Objects: Fancy yourself a detective? Solve mysteries — or at least try — amidst some European charm.

And On We Go
Wrap it up however you want, there are more games and adventures waiting dropping in. And if none of this caught your attention, well, maybe next week will? Until then, happy gaming or something like that.
I’ll shut up now.
