Sure thing, here it goes:

Okay, so here’s the deal. May 19, 2025. Exactly ten years before that, CD Projekt RED decided to toss out this little thing called The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I know, right? Who would’ve thought? It’s like stating, “water is wet” to say the game blew up. Critically acclaimed, commercially successful, yada yada. Fast forward to 2023, and boom, it crossed the 50 million sales mark. Wild, huh?
So here’s me, reminiscing a bit. Back then, my life was… well, let’s just say it wasn’t sunshine and rainbows. Everything felt off. But The Witcher series? Man, that was my escape. Loved the books, devoured the games. Couldn’t get enough of it.
This third game was a biggie. I mean, CD Projekt RED wasn’t kidding around. It took this colossal leap from Witcher 2. Bigger world, more monsters, and hey, they finally tossed in Ciri and Yennefer! I’ve got to say, when I finally got my hands on it, I was all in. It was perfect. Mysteries galore, choices that weren’t just cut and dry. Side quests that almost stole the show from the main saga. And that Bloody Baron storyline? Still gives me chills.
Ah, there was the Hearts of Stone expansion — had this twisted fairy tale vibe, a real “be careful what you wish for” deal. Then, Blood and Wine dropped. Thirty-plus hours of vampire drama and fairytales? Yes, please. Honestly, those moments hit hard, tugging at the old heartstrings. It’s forever tied to a rough patch in my life. But maybe, that’s why it feels timeless to me.
Not played it yet? Dude, do yourself a favor and dive in.
Now, I know Cyberpunk 2077 was a thing too — and sure, with time, it’s found its ground. The Phantom Liberty expansion was a fun ride with all those spy vibes. But to many, Witcher 3? Still king, without a doubt. CD Projekt RED sprinkled in those modern-day bells and whistles, like ray tracing and whatnot. Yet, the core magic? Never faded.
I seriously hope they capture that same magic with The Witcher 4. Heard Ciri’s the star this time — about time, honestly. Seeing the world through her eyes? Yes! Can’t wait to explore new dark corners.
The Witcher 4 feels distant — maybe, what, 2027? But if it’s anywhere near as epic as Witcher 3, I’ll be over the moon.
Till then, I guess it’s the good old Witcher Path for me. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available everywhere, so no excuses. Go play it. You’re welcome.
